Western Grit – Rockfax

Western Grit – Rockfax is in reality a new edition rather than a new title but it has had a major face-lift. The guide covers the western gritstone edges’ including The Roaches and Hencloud from Staffordshire, Shining Clough and Laddow from Derbyshire, Wilton and Anglezark from Lancashire and Helsby and Frodsham from Cheshire – the information is presented in the full colour ‘Rockfax’ style with extensive route descriptions, maps, photo-topos and symbols. As with all modern climbing guides, it is lavishly illustrated with loads of great action shots.
